Overview in brief

• If you work as a team in a forest setting, you’ll know there are special dangers to look out for. In the event of an emergency you’ll need the necessary skills and training to keep you and your colleagues safe.

The finer details

• This is a two-day theory and practical course which will give you the time to revive the skills and techniques you have already learned in the First Aid at Work +F course.  Our course will concentrate on the skills you need in the Forestry industry.
• Our course has been developed to comply with the Forestry Commission +F as per the First Aid at Work – Forestry Commission Policy and in consultation with Forestry Industry Safety Accord (FISA).
• Again, there will be assessment and you’ll receive a certificate of training once the course is completed and a workbook to keep as a handy reference guide.

Worth noting:

• First Aid at Work certificates are valid for three years, so a further two-day qualification course must be carried out within one month of expiry. Don’t leave it any longer or you’ll have to take a full first aid at work course.
